Market Reports

Market Report: Thursday, March 26th, 2020

We had some good sets of fats in town for our Thursday March 26th auction, finding a market considerably higher than a week ago. Our top fats went for 120.75. We followed with another good run of weigh cows and bulls, finding a stronger market there as well, especially for the bulls. The bulls finished about 10 higher than last week. We finished the afternoon with a short run of feeders. If you are wanting to move any cattle, please give us a call and one of our team would be happy to stop out and visit with you about our upcoming specials.

The West Point Livestock Auction will continue to have our weekly auctions every Thursday, in addition to our Monday feeder auctions on March 23rd, and April 6th. TA Angus will have their bull auction on Thursday, April 2nd. Now, more than ever, is a time that price discovery in our markets is of the utmost importance. All of our cattle auctions will be broadcast live over the internet on lmaauctions.com. Online bidding will be available. Also please note for our onsite buyers and sellers, we are taking extra precautions that our inside facilities will be cleaned following the guidelines of the CDC. If you have any questions regarding the online bidding please contact the office at 402-372-2493.
